Daytona and Dega feel REAL funky under NR2002.  Feels like you're driving a
Suburban.

Playing around on Pit Road, or cutting out the tri-oval and screaming down
pit lane is a pretty good indication someone is a dipstick.

IMHO, anyone who can't be serious during practice, isn't going to be serious
during the race.

They always say "It's only practice, what am I hurting".  Man, I HATE that
nonsense.

Coca-Cola is going to be immensely popular.  No bones about it (except those
scattered all over the track).

It IS a fun track.

I've also noticed that all the Papy Races I was in, at least, finally had
fixed setups turned OFF!

Woohoo!

Then don't make any mistakes. =)

Outside of testing sessions, you seriously should not be spinning
much.  If you are you're either pushing it too hard or need more
practice.  No offense, but self-spins can be as annoying as people who
wreck people on purpose.

I have yet to see contact in Nascar 4 or 2002 online that couldn't
have been avoided.  It's just a matter of having patience and control
of your car, both of which should be prerequisites for racing online,
imho.

You're kidding, RIGHT?  You actually think the two are equal?

Morally?  No, not at all.

In terms of annoyance?  Not quite, but damn close.  I just ran a
league race at Atlanta, 114 laps and no less than 16 cautions.
Someone actually self-spun in front of me, I have no idea how, since
we were using a Papy fixed-fast setup which is tighter than hell.  I
would've likely been more entertained if someone had just lost their
wits and went around ramming people for half the race.

Could you imagine how much NASCAR would suck if every 2-5 laps there
was a caution because someone lost control of their car?

Self spinning is usually a result of not practicing enough for the race. In
a league I race in, we have a 2 spin rule, if someone self spins twice in
the same race the rule is they have to park the car and exit the race. If a
self spin causes damage to another car, then they are penalized a point.

Not enough practice?  Usually, but not always.  I'll agree with Jason that is
can sometimes be caused by pushing too hard.  I could probably run laps all day
at a certain speed within my comfort zone.  My spins are usually a result of
trying to keep up(or keep ahead) of a driver who's faster... :(
So, in your league, does that rule cause people to just 'circulate'  to keep
from spinning?

How loose or tight a setup is or how controllable it is can be very
seriously affected by changing the wheel lock and/or linearity settings.
Compound that with FF wheels which actually diminish the users control and
it is very easy to see self spins with the Fast setup or any other setup.
