Nascar Pro Digital in Software Etc.

On Saturday I saw the new Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital wheel in the local
Software Etc. store for $89 U.S.  It looks pretty much like the older Nascar
Pro as far as the wheel, shifter, and pedals, except that it has 4 buttons
on the wheel instead of 2.  Are there any reviews of the wheel yet, or can
someone post a personal opinion on it?

I know a lot of folks here are not happy with the older Nascar Pros because
of their reliability, but I've had one for almost a year and a half now, and
it's been great for me.  I did have to replace a throttle pedal spring once,
and I just cleaned the steering pot (with Radio Shack tuner cleaner spray -
got rid of the jitters right away!), but other than that, the wheel has not
given me any problems and I'd be interested in trying the new digital
version if it's better.

Thats a high price.  I think I saw it at Buy.com for $50 or $60.

thanks, you're right.  It's $52.95 at buy.com plus $11.95 for standard
shipping, so $64.90 total.  That's great!  There's nothing wrong with my
analog Nascar Pro however, so does anyone think I should go with the new USB
digital model?

Better frame rates, longer "future," no more calibration, no
"jittering."

Yeah go for it.  I too have an older analog Tmaster nascar Pro and upgraded
to a wingman FF (USB), across the board I had better control and a tad
better framerates, the control was the things that grabbed me, I even went
and ditched my old HOTAS setup in favor of a newer digital model i couldnt
be happier.

I have even lusted after the new Tmaster model just as an alternate to my FF
setup.
