Personally, I prefer The Pits' TPTCC patch over TOCA...It's mainly a
matter of available features in N2, to that of the other. TOCA's
driving characterisics seem much closer to Touring Cars than TPTCC
however, because the real cars squirt-around like little banshees.
TOCA's cars don't have much in the way of a damage model, and crashing
still keeps one almost as competitive as if not damaged. Not very
realistic IMHO.
Being able to customize the cars in N2's version is also has great
benefits, and jsut about any carset, utility, etc., designed for N2
will work with TPTCC.
While TOCA is fun and interesting, TPTCC wins hands down. =)
