As the title suggests,does anyone know where there's one, please? I tried
one, but it was only for XP...

Why do you want to uninstall dx9? I have it with several game and there is
no problem for me. What is the game that cause the problem?

Just install dx8.1 over the top ...u dont need to uninstall

I'm curious as well. DX9 has been the first DX upgrade that actually gave me
a performance boost, but I am on XP not ME.

gave me a boost in some apps in WinME as well. FS2002 for example.

N2002, actually...pre-DX9 I was at 80fps, with DX9 I'm at around 40. I'm
assuming it's my low-end Geforce 4 /MX 440) that's the problem, but I'd be
more than happy to return back to DX8.1....

So, anyone know how? Thanks again....

    Have you checked the basics like perhaps dx9's installation turned
vsynce back on?  Most likely your driver settings are back to their default
status.  Seveal users have already posted here on RAS about dx9 improving
their performance slightly,  certainly we haven't seen a hue and cry about
a 50% reduction.  I'd dig a little deeper before giving 9.0 the heave ho.

There is one called "DirectX eradicator". I think it works for ME, too.
