Only three drivers showed up.
I'm a little bummed. My GPL leagues are dying on me and I can't find
an F1C league with drivers either.
I may have to go over to the dark side and buy one of the NASCAR
titles just so I can have someone to race with. And I have damn near
zero interest in driving NASCAR vehicles around in ever decreasing
circles. (Sorry, I know there are a legion of NASCAR fans out there,
and I have tried to like it, but after N2 and N3, I just can't make
myself like anything about it.)
I'm going to go and sit in the corner now, drink some beer and watch
some US NFL teams beat on each other, and feel sorry for myself. :-(

Go into multiplayer and recruit some fast drivers.
There are people who would love to drive on a server
with a fast connection.

The race was a blast. Our lap times were within a few tenths of each other
for many laps, and the racing was tight, especially early on. Looks like two
real F1drivers in the replay. I uploaded the replay to
http://home.comcast.net/~davegf/ in case anyone wants to see what they are
missing out on. Check out the first five laps at least.
If the regulars show up, and if we could add another 3-4 drivers, we could
have a great time. Lap after lap of driving against someone like Neil in an
F1 car is about as good as it gets for me in sim racing.
In an F1 rocket :-o , trying to lap within a few tenths of your previous
lap, while being careful not to make the slightest mistake, is a really
fantastic sim racing experience.
