In GP2 do the split times reflect against your best split time or the
split time of your best lap?

i.e. While setting up for T1 I ran some 1m12xxx laps, then I changed
setup up and ran slightly faster laps but a slower first split, so After
a new fastest lap, will the split time reflect the fastest lap split, or
the fastest split?

I would guess that GP2 just remembers one lap, and that would be your
fastest lap. So it would be the fastest lap split.

The split time reflects the split time of your fastest LAP (of the current
session, of course), not your fastest split times.

As I see it, the split time of your fastest previous lap is indicated,
not the fastest split time itself. I find this a bit annoying, since
I'd like to see the current time measured against my fastest time on a
given segment, especially when working on the setup.
