Can't calibrate joystick

by Fran?ois Aubr » Sat, 08 Aug 1998 04:00:00

Totally new to the simulation game world, i acquired Nascar2 racing a few
days ago along with the Thrustmaster Millenium 3d joystick. Whether I play
in the DOS or win 95 mode I can't calibrate the joystick or use the joystick
commands. I'm stuck with the keyboard commands.

Help somebody.

Thanks

After hooking up your joystick, calibrate in win95 first. Once it calibrates
there ok, start the N2 sim, and go to options. Calibrate in N2 then, before
setting controls. Make sure you have "joystick" selected before trying to
calibrate. Once it calibrates successfully in N2, go to "set controls", and
set them. If this doesn't work, run the Sierra autoupdate feature, it should
update your N2 installation with some fixes, and I believe one of them may
have something to do with joystick recognition.

Also make sure that you have all of the N2 patches installed, one time I
couldn't get N2 to see the joystick at all until I installed the patches.
