Hmm.  It gives me two choices - Adapter Default, and Optimal.  Somehow I was
expecting more...
I wanted to try my hand at creating a time-shift... :)

     Up until last month, I ran gpl and Nascar3 on a 14 inch monitor. And I
raced strickly with the***pit view. You're just having problems getting
adjusted to the***pit view after all the time you spent with the rollbar
view.  But if it's realism you're after, then spend the time.  However,
there is a good compromise. There is a high cocpit view out that raises you
a few feet higher than the regular view, and gives you much better view down
