<snip>

Here is a proven incompatibility : the initial release of Daggerfall
worked properly on the Intel chip. On the Cyrix the game would crash
EXTREMELY frequently when the player was wandering around a town. This
did not happen on an Intel based machine.  A patch was eventually
released to correct this, but this clearly shows that the Cyrix is not
truely transparently compatible. Or how about this, the new
INDYCAR.EXE file available on Intergraphs Web site will not allow me
to run INDYFAST.BAT.  My motherboard with an Intel runs INDYFAST
without a hitch.  With a Cyrix all races at 100% length are slightly
over 6 million laps, with an Intel they have the correct number of
laps.  Again one program with very different results on the two
processors.  Clearly not quite as compatible as Cyrix might have us
believe.  I am very dissapointed in my Cyrix P166+.

You have to subscribe to it .  they send you 4 Cds every month which are
updates on the previous month.  The contain all the datasheets ,fixes,
updates etc . They are excellent and cover all of the microsoft products.
We get it at work but I think its about 150 quid
