Do I need to have GPL patched to v1.2
to install Brands Hatch?
I tried it several times but the installation process crashes aster a while.
...OR.perhaps,horrible thought,does it only work with the US version?
(I got the UK version)

Robert.
The patch came out after Brands. I suggest that you might have a corrupted
file. It wouldn't hurt to try downloading it again. Best of luck
