Difference Between Nascar 2002 & 2003?

What is the main difference between Nascar Racing Season 2002 and
2003?

Is there a way I can play the 2002 season with the 2003 game?  I've
installed the 2003, and play it, but I also have 2002.  Are they 2
completely separate games, or is there a way to play both seasons in
the 2003 game?

Thanks,

What do you mean play both seasons?

Did you want to race the 2002 schedule with the 2002 cars?  That you can do
by creating your own schedule and using the 2002 paint schemes (available on
lots of sites)

There are many differences between the games though..

They will install separate of each other so that is no problem. Now if you
want to simulate the 2002 year in 2003 that can be done as well by some
skins for the cars, and a edited schedule. I personally wouldn't mess around
with 2002. Just think of all the extra you will be able to have with 2003
when Project Wildfire kicks them out.

Skyking...

Think of it as the difference between Microsoft Office (the 1st
one),office 95, 98, or 2000 & XP.

you can have NR(1), NR2, NR1999, NR3, NR4, 2002, 2003.  but what is neat is
that you can have all of them (I still have 4, 02, and 03) on the same
machine separately  but only because I haven't got 2 copies of NR03 so we
can race on a LAN I have at home with friends, and I keep putting off,
removing NR4.

they are all different.  up until 1 month ago, you could race NR3 online
with others, but plug has more or less been pulled.  I haven't checked but
few prolly run nr4, and might be a few doing NR02, but you cant race those
of us running 03 without having 03...

particular difference's, well it would be easier to have you read papy's
site, I think, where they tell you what is new for the version your looking
at (selling points?)  Physics are different, some controls and a few other
things have been adjusted and stuff...  03 doesn't just update 02.  Lot of
things that changed are really nuances (spelling?)  that make the game seem
better (some say worse?)  so your mileage may vary.

hope that help.

I don't want to fool around with anything fancy, I just thought that
if I insalled 03 AFTER installing 02, it would recognize the 02 game
and replace the main engine while keeping the old tracks and cars, and
players etc.

I guess it doesn't work that way.  Thanks for the info.

has more or less been pulled.

Thats too bad. Every now and again I'd go back for grins and giggles.
