Its their new pedal modulation system called PMB2 which helps give you the
extra realistic brake pressure feel.
I would get it for sure because it makes to sense to spend all this money
just to skimp on something important.

Anyone want to comment on the PMB braking unit? It will be hard for me to
afford the pedals and that too.

It was hard to get used to after so many years of spring tension brakes and
a very heavy push to say the least.  Over the past year it seems to have
relaxed and is now very natural feeling (or Ive adapted).  Hard to describe
except to say you can reach max brake without lockup and if you do lockup
you have a finer degree of control in getting unlocked than in a traditional
spring tension braking system.

Squashball. Cheap, easy to replace, does the job well ;-)

Hmmm, 6000 pedals have several adjustments....lets see, about 5 just looking
at them. Probably more internal. And I've owned every ECCI there is. Are
your's built different?

If you're worried about them being worth the extra $80, you need to buy the
TSW pedals. I would pay $200 more for them if I had to.

I had them and didn't care for them that much. I ordered another set without
and like them much better. It's a personal preference I think.

What is that statement supposed to mean? I just do not want to pay an extra
$80 for something that is not worth it. My wife already thinks I am spending
too much. But as you know they do not understand.

What I mean is that I would gladly spend the $80 more to own the ECCI pedals
over the TSW pedals. I have owned and used both. Of course I can't help you
with your wife. (-:
