How to race F3 cars

There has been a bit of interest shown in F3 racing, so for those of
you who are not familiar with how to race them, this is a simple
explanation of how to..

Make up a new driver.
eg: if your name is Joe Blow, call your new driver: Joe_f3 Blow

Then edit the PLAYER.INI file in the: PLAYERS\Joe_f3 Blow folder.

Change the line that says: driverRating = 3   to   driverRating = 1

That line is located under:  [ Personal Information ]

Save it, and you are ready to race a F3 car..

Just use the Joe_f3 Blow driver every time you want to race the F3 cars
on-line, or off-line for that matter...
Hope that helps..
Cheers,
Ron

How to race F3 cars

Ron Ayton wrote good advice on how to drive F3 in GPL:

Wow! It is really great to be able to drive also F3 (and F2, where
that "driverRating" is 2) races! The AI really uses those cars, too.

I won my first F3 AI-race of 19 opponents in Monza! J. Brabham was
second, G. Hill 3rd, and J. Clark only 4th... Perhaps my desperate
practising of F1 races has been a good practice for F3! ;-)

And in Watkins Glen L. Bandini could drive his F3 Ferrari in qualifying
in time 1:14:63! How can that be possible?  Well, I was only 11th
with my 1:27:72, no clean laps... Didn't try the race yet...

Then I tried F2 in Glen, and how funny: it really felt a real racing
car after F3. I just wonder, what will happen, when I go back to F1.. :)

Really great to be able to multiply GPL by 3! Two new simulators to
race!

I also have followed the instructions below and I am able to do races with
F3 cars, but I am not able to run an F3 championship. Does anyone know
what can be done about it?

Greetings,
Han Monsees
