nascar 2 question

Hello,

I always liked to play nascar2. But now that i've got a new computer (a
k6 350mhz with 64 mb sdram) the sound is much to quick. When i drive the
car it sounds like a screaming formule one car, and the spotter voice is
higher than mickey mouse voice. Can somebody tell me how to fix this.

thanks,

I'm running Nascar2 on a PII/300 with 160MB memory, and the sound is
completely normal.
Is the voice normal when you run the sound setup program?

yes it is. I forget to mention that its running under win98. Maybe that that
has something to do with it?

Thanks Peter

Nope. N99 runs fine in W98. Are you overclocking anything? What
soundcard do you have? Are you running the DOS or W98 version
of the game?

This sounds like a DMA issue.  You might want to check with your vendor
and see if there is a BIOS update for your motherboard.  Also check your
DOS settings for your soundcard and see if there is a DMA conflict or
try using a different DMA for your soundcard.

I'm telling you, Peter, it's extra terrestrial beings which are doing
this.

Honestly!

You'd think they would bother doing something more interesting than
involving themselves in our games, but then again, if you were going
to take over the White House, would you do it Independence Day style,
or would you go through the back door?
