Downloaded the patch the other night.  Had only problem of it stoppping
during the Atlanta modify.  I just copied the Atlanta directory of my cd
to the one on my harddrive, ran the patch again and it worked fine.  no
problems within the game whatsoever.  I can't believe hardly anyone is
thanking you for  this welll constructed patch.There are too many ***ing
morons and babies who will never be satisfied no matter what you guys do.
Why don't you guys who have nothing better to do than whine and snivel
just take the friggin game back and get your money back!!  Oh sorry,
didn't realize you play it all the time and probably couldn't live without
it.  Do you reallly think all your crying brought the patch out any sooner
or later than it would have anyway.? Now we get to start all over with
this shit.  Cann't we just get you guys a new newsgroup called

Actually, I agree with Mike here.  There has been nothing but ***ing and
moaning about this and that with N2 since it came out.  Now that the patch
is
here, many of the same people are STILL unhappy.  Geez, WHAT WERE YOU
EXPECTING, A MIRACLE?!?

Sorry, doesn't work that way in real life.  Want satisfaction?  Just
return the game!  The rest of us won't miss then, the complaints of it.

Seriously, I have had NO problems (aside from cars running THROUGH each
other during wrecks) with the game, even after installing the patch.  I
run a T2,
and have not experienced the handling problems that other have.

So, I tip MY hat to Papyrus/Sierra for providing the patch, but more
importantly,
for going on with the patch.

  WE ALL SHOULD THANK PAPY FOR THE PATCH.
I had some prob's when installing patch but I have fixed IT.!!  
 One has to wonder if some of the problems that people are having is
because of all the home brew patch's out their. my problem was fixed after
I did a new install and ran the patch.   This is not that their was a prob
with some of the fixes but I am sure that papy can't make the patch take
all these files into account. It is my belive that some problems are do to
changed files.

I agree. Papy could only write the patch to suit their own
original code and not the quick fixes a lot of us used from
the Net. I too replaced the modified files with the originals
and the patch worked fine. 7 files in total were changed via
patch.

No ones looking for a miracle,but I guess it would be a miracle for Papy or
Sierra to put a patch out that actually works.
