Actually, my wussy 323F/Astina GT with mere 135 HP does just that when I
declutch. And it's idle revs are only around 700.
-lark-
all autos do it (the toyota auto ive driven did it, as did the c180 merc
auto ive driven)...and semi autos do it as well.....
It aint no bug...its an anti stall measure......if you're in gear, you're
supposed to be moving.....

You bet! Nah, actually it's an automatic transmission. 6 cyl. 3.8L.
:-)
OK, then I guess GP3 is more realistic in that area than all other
sims.

Either its a feature of a core game bug.
So what do semi-automatic geraboxes with stall prevention do at the
standstill in 1st ?

Hm... apologies for saying this was a controller bug - I'd assumed
this because of set up difficulties with the microsoft wheel. It's
merely pretty stupid. Bung the car into gear and it chugs off at 11mph.
In reality it would stall or automatically pop the clutch in if it had
some kind of stall prevention. Damn silly in any case (but the least of
the games faults).
Has anyone got Microsoft force feedback working? I can either have NO
forcefeedback ifI don't check Map Y to X or I can have wrong
forcefeedback. Leave the car stationary in the pits, turn the wheel
left and there's no resistance - turn it right and it feels like there's
a big weight preventing it.

Btw I was very happy when I recognized it, because it was the first (and
only?) new feature compared to GP2 :-))
Have fun
