I have found that if I have the force feedback enabled in core.ini ,
the car won't change gears properly.
If I turn off the FF the car drives fine.
Has any of you guys had this trouble?
If so, is there a fix for it?

My System is:

Pentium 4 1.3G
GF3
256M Ram
SB Live
Logi Wingman FF Wheel ( The original red one )

Thanks in advance

Are you using auto shift, or won't it shift when you hit the shift button?

Older versions of Logitech drivers and software have a bug with GPL and
specially Momo wheel that makes the driver miss button presses. That is
fixed in 4.20 software, grab it from www.wingmanteam.com

I've got the Joystick version of this wheel & the latest (4.20 beta) drivers
fixed it like a charm!

You can get them from here:

http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/latest_soft_main.htm

It looks like they've released the official 4.20 now.

It was playing up whilst in manual mode, missing button reports.
I installed the Wingman software as suggested, and it now works
like a charm. They have done a nice job on the 1.21 patch.
The FF feels just right, not too overpowering.
I haven't used GPL for a couple of years, but I now remember why I it sucked
me in, up until 4 in the morning when it first came out.
I was online last night, one on one, both with cable,
both through the same Optus server. It was the fastest O/L thing I
have ever seen. It was like watching a movie.
It is still the best sim by a long shot.
I got a 1.06.81 at the Glen, after not much practice.
I can't remember my old times.
What do you guys get?
Thanks to all that posted
