Hearing that Papyrus is working on a 60's racing series,I'd like
to see a sim based on sprint cars(on dirt).Lot's of possibilities
for setups and tire compounds. It would be fun to get sideways
and EVEN upside down once in a while.I'm not sure how you'd
make the tear-aways work.
Any rumors out there?

The real challenge here would be trying to mount a T2 so the wheel is
horizontal-just like driving a bus !! :-] Actually, I like the idea, but
personally would prefer a "Dirt" Sim to be based on Outlaw Late Models. As you
mentioned, tear-offs would be critical to reality-How could they Sim big globs
of clay/dirt/mud/goo/rocks/parts hitting you in the face/chest/neck/hands ??:~\
As a side note; it is a relief to see Rick G. wasn't thrown into a corporate
dungeon never to be creative again :-))...Yet ;-).

Great idea guys. I was going to suggest dirt tracking myself but you

listening.

Bag all this asphalt parking lot ***for a bunch of guys whose names
we cannot pronounce.

Slide 'em through the turns boys. Let's do it in the DIRT with WINGS.

I started this same thread a couple months ago & got a good many
responses to it.  Don't worry, we're not the only ones that would like
to see a dirt track sim. I would rather see late models than
sprinters, but that's only because I'm a little biased because I used
to drive a semi-late & later a limited late model at Silver Springs &
Susquehanna Speedways. With you being from Central PA as well, I'm
sure you know where I'm talking about. Oh, sorry I got off the
subject.  I've been hoping for a dirt sim for a while now. Maybe if
enough people express interest to Papyrus about it, they will grant us
our wish. The only problem is, how do you knock that red Susky clay
from hot laps from the mud screen so you can find your way back into
the pits?? See ya!!!!

Yeah, and let's see the "Saturday Night At the Races" effect, like you'd
see at the local bullring on hot summer nights. The track getting a blue
groove, big crashes over the wall, havig to call for the track welder
after getting together with Randy in turn 3 during you heat race so you
can make the feature. Not endless cash!

I'd also like to see a World of Outlaws sim. A dirt speedway go-karting sim
would also be nice. Virtual Karts sucks and is only sprint go-karting.
Are there any dirt speedway or enduro go-karting sims out there, that are
real ?
