World of Outlaws Sprintcars..

I purchased a new computer last week and decided to buy WOO Sprintcars. Went
to plug in my MS FF Wheel and guess what? No serial game port. So today I
got one of the last USB wheels in town. So far so good. Loaded the game, did
a few laps, won a race and changed to career mode. Car handles like ***so
I went looking for my old folder of setup sheets, for the original DTR
SprintCars and they are gone!! Must have chucked em out in a clean out years
ago.   So my question is, does anyone have or know were I can find some
setups?
I probably thought I wouldn't play again.

Thanks russell

World Of Outlaws setup structure is totaly different from any other DTR
series game. I take it you didn't even notice the lack of a load setup
option?  There are basicly 6 setups saved for each track. One for each of
the wetness settings. It holds your last setup used in each one of these
slots. So if you make a change and it sucks you better remeber what you had
before because its gone. And you'll need to remember it for a while because
the track wetness changes for each session of the race event so you may not
even get back to the original wetness/track combo for some time.  You can
blame this setup one game consoles. Since they made this title for both
consoles and PCs they had to go to with the worst of each. WoO can be fun to
play, but if you really want to get into it your better off sticking with
DTRSC.  For DTRSC stuff you may want to check out ASCRA or Simguys. You
should be able to find them with a google search.  I believe there is some
sort of setup utility at BHMS, but I don't think to many sites have setups
posted. Since you can't edit/add tracks or skins to WoO (its that console
thing all over again) it wasn't very well recived by the Ratbag faithful.
Unfortunatly DTR3 or Saturday Night Racing won't be any better for it.

Its too bad that Papy won't get into the dirt racing sims now that they got
the boot from NASCAR.
