Does anybody know where i can find the s3spdup.exe utility where
everybody is talking about,, i own a diamond stealth video (3200)
video. Problem is that F1GP2 gives poor performance.
Only playable in low-res, unplayable in svga (even with most detail
switched off).

When i look in to the gp2log.txt -file i see a video-performance of
177 ????. Does anybody have the same problem.
(machine is a P100  + 24 Meg's)

Check out http://wwwmath.uni-muenster.de/~mesched/
This is Dietmar's Homepage where there are several utilities
Note I didn't see significant improvement with s3spdup in GP2
or maybe I didn't install i correctly,

No problem, s3spdup is available at a lot of sites on the web but I can
send it to you email if you want. I dont know why you experience such
poor performance with GP2 with your setup but it should be better.

I have a P133 32 meg EDO, Triton II mobo, 512k L2 cache and an STB
Lightspeed 128 video card and I'm happy with the way GP2 runs in SVGA
with a lot of the detail on.

Have you run the new 3D bench test on your machine? I get

56.3 or 33.8 fps on SVGA Bench
       178.5 or 107  fps on Bench 3D

Help

Have downloaded the s3spdup utility.

Where do I need to put the extracted file.  Sorry if this sounds a
stupid question, I am still learning??  :)))

Thanks

Gary
