S3SPDUP really works..!!!

I tried the S3SPDUP program last night and it did increase framerate.

First off I have a P133 16mbEDO DStealth 2mb Vram with S3Vision968.

I had been getting 19.6fps(set at 17)with the following settings in svga:
All textures except Bank, Hills, and Sky. Objects -Low(who needs gstands
and all of those trees in Hockenheim)

Ater loading S3SPDUP VGA...(vesa doesn't seem to help, loading both was
the same as just vga) I got 21.3(set at 19.6)

So I went from setting it at 19.6 to 21.3 not bad, not great, but...

Didn't seem to help in VGA tho':

I was getting 23.2(set at 21.3) with everthing on except sky.
Objects-all. With S3SPDUP it stayed the same. So go figure.

I used: S3SPDUP vga /load

I am loading S3SPDUP with the options VESA /LOAD. Very little
improvements in the log but my Proc. Occup. is lower (SVGA). I think the
estimate used in the log works around VGA and therefore doesn't reflects
SVGA improvements.

If you are playing on SVGA, you must use: S3SPDUP /load. This turns the SVGA
acceleration on, and the VGA acceleration off. See S3SPDUP /?
