1) Does the CD have the DOS patch on it as promised?  Or does it have a
full DOS version instead?  Either way, you can get your ICR2 patched for
the low low price of (whatever you paid for ICR2Win).

2) Did ICR2Win install generic DirectX support?  If so, you might want to
make sure that you've got the Edge DirectX drivers to ensure that you're
   getting the best performance.

Hey all.  I guess I was just curious...so I went out and bought a copy
of the Win95 version of ICR2.  So far the presentation and ease of
manuevering around the different menus are much better than the DOS
version.  However, my complaint is the fact that when I run it in
640x480 resolution full screen, the game runs slower than when I run it
in DOS.  I even own an Edge3d card that supposedly supports the Direct X
API's....but why is it running slower in hi-res full screen.  Anyone out
there know?

Thanx

Hi Derrick:

I have an Edge 3240xl.  Which video driver version are you using???  The
stock v1.0 driver was real slow.  The newer version I downloaded off
Diamond's web page helped considerably, but I still think it should be
faster.

I was afraid that the Windows 95 ICR2 would slower...

If you look at the readme text,it says a mim of 16 meg, you need more to run
it full detail.I installed the dos version and could not get my T2 to run, so
I took it back. I will be keeping my old papyrus version.

Can't help there - at work, we've seen pretty impressive performance
from DirectX on Diamond Stealths and Matrox Milleniums (Millenia?).
Try the latest drivers as others suggest.

The question I want answered is does it have IPX networking? I'd heard
there would be 8 player support. And if there's IPX, does it run
through Kali, and is the performance acceptable?

:Thanx
