Momo Driving Force Pro as "backup wheel"?

by Uwe Schürkam » Tue, 31 Jan 2006 17:53:05

Hi folks,

as I wanted to take my time doing a proper job of the usb conversion of
my tsw2, I was thinking of buying a momo driving force pro (the ps2 / pc
variety) as a backup wheel to use while my TSW lies in ruins. I was
wondering what you think of this wheel, it's available from ebay new for
around 85 Euros including postage.

TIA for your thoughts, uwe

You might just spent a little longer converting the tsw2, as the DFP is
quite a decent wheel.  Pedals...well, that's sort of a personal thing,
would probably suck for a hard core simmer (which I'm luckily not). Fun
to play GTL/ GTR with the 900 deg setting. Brackets doesn't like tables
with rounded edges, so be careful there.
All in all, a good package IMO

Hi Deon,

thanks for your comments. Is it possible to use the TSW pedals together
with the momo wheel?

cheers, uwe
