TM Pro digital wheel question

by John McClare » Sun, 02 Apr 2000 04:00:00

Call me an idiot but I can't seem to get the third axis to work. I installed
the latest drivers and unhighlighted the little link between the two pedals
and I still only get two axis. Does anyone know how to get the third to
work?

Thanks in advance,

John

I'll have to wait till mine comes back.....had it for about 3 weeks before it
crapped out.  It's somewhere between here and the great white North for
warranty repairs.

It may be the game you are trying to use it in though.  I recall that on the
test screen that comes with the wheel if you "disconnect" the link you can see
the movement of the accelerator and brake working in opposite directions at the
same time.  As I understand it however not all games support this feature.  N3
for example apparently interprets acceleration and braking together as simple
deceleration.

I have the exact same problem.  After "unhighlighting the little link
between the 2 pedals", the TM calibration screen shows the 2 pedals working
independently (holding the accelerator down and then depressing the brake,
both pedals show fully engaged).  However,  all the games that I've tried
(e.g. GPL) show only 2 axis operation.

Thanks,
Mark
