well i've had the 'ferrari' wheel fo ralmost 2 weeks, and while i
think its hte best i've owned so far... i can say this applies only
while it stays in mode.
what?
well, it seems to shut FF off or back on at random. on line racing has
become russian roulette!
today, i started some practice laps and at first all is well, then
suddenly the wheel make a serious strong man wrestling contest out of
keeping the wheel straight!
i try to recalibrate but cant turn the wheel .. notice that it now
says the steering needs to be assigned, and trying everything, on hte
wheel or keyboard,  no input is accepted.

so i exit GPL, turn the wheel power off, back on and re-start GPL.

yep everything is great.

its USB and device manager show no conflicts..
anyone have an idea about where i start to look for answers?

thx
Bo Bruce

With all of the hours and hours of online play with GPL I have only had
this happen once.  Are you using the latest drivers from Guillemot?  You
may want to try removing the drivers and re-installing them.  But before
doing so make sure they are really completely removed.  Also, are
you using DirectX 7a?

michael-
again thanks for replying..and offer to help.
yes latest f drivers...(123) and yes Dx7a.
not sure how to completely remove, is it more than just deleteing (or
removing from control panel?) then reinstalling?
anyway, i'll give it a  shot-
Bo
