I stalled in the pits while racing at a lan parting over the weekend,
and the ***y pit crew wouldn't restart my engine!

***ERS!

Oh Christ don't tell me they havn't fixed this in F12002?!
That happened to me in F12001 towards the end of a full length race at
Monaco, I was livid.
Esp. seeing as you can get the car restarted if you are rolling which is v.
dubious for an F1 car, but the one place you should be able to restart a
stalled engine ie. the pits you can't!

I haven't actually tried this myself, but there is a line in the .plr
file, under driving aids, that says:

Pitcrew Push="1" // When out of fuel in pitlane, allows pitcrew to push
car (use throttle and gear selection to direct)

I believe 1 is the default value, so you probably had it on, but notice
the comment - apparently you have to hit the throttle when they are
pushing you to get them to go anywhere.

Didn't Schui stall on the grid a few years back, even with the hand
clutch?

I think hitting the / key or something like that restarts the engine.

Hi Dave

No joy with '/' and no luck on google. :(

Having an out of body experience every time I pit in a race pisses me of
too. I tried changing:

Locked Pit Cam="1"

to:

Locked Pit Cam="0"

But the pit crew just stood there and did nothing.

Great sim with some real bollocks features, imo.

Cheers

Well Google isn't coughing up any more info for me either...two threads
that talk about it but no solution...man I musta been on ***...
Anyhow, about the pit crew.  You think EA is gonna budget studio time to
get a full motion capture done on a pit crew of 227 people and then allow
ISI to make it a toggled option??
