CART Demo: control problems

I can't seem to get good control that feels nice like the other sims in
MS CART PR.
No matter what I do it seems either to responsive (twichy) on the high
speed straights or there is not enough lock to make a slow turn, or a
combination of these to.  It reminds me of X-CAR in this respect.  I
have spent a good deal of time playing with non-linear stering, reduce
lock with speed, stering ratio, and ballast position.  I am pretty sure
I have tried just about every different way to adjust these that is
possible.  Of course I have tried the Default setup, the laguna setup,
and I have attempted to make my own many different ways

a few notes:
in papy software I like non-linear
in GP2 I use 100% sensitivity, 70% reduce with speed, 19 deg lock
I do have a gamecard
I do have a good wheel

any advice???

You have to***with the settings a bit to get something that works.

To make steering response more sensitive

1. On the Options menu, click Controls.
2. In the Control Options dialog box, drag both the Speed Sensitive
Steering and Non-linear Steering sliders to the right to make the
steering response more sensitive.
3. Click OK.
Test the new settings in a race. You may need to experiment to find the
perfect steering response setting for your steering control and your
driving style.

I ended up moving Speed Sensitive to 1 notch from full left, as well as
moving Non-linear about 2 notches from full left.  This setting feels
pretty good with my TSW but may need to be tweaked a little further.
