xcar demo - control problems ?

Hello,

Has anyone else had a chance to check out the demo for x-car? I found it on the PC games April cd.
I set the game up for my T2 but have practically no control over the car at any speed. What
control I do get is very errattic, making the car a joke to drive. Aside from that the game has
potential. The graphics ran well on my system at 640x400 and the rainy day/fog effect is kinda
cool. If anyone can get some descent control out of this thing please let me know or put a post
here. From what I can see of it, this one actually deserves a chence (unlike a few other demos
I've tried, Power F1, Sega Rally, or Daytona USA to mention a few).

  Make sure you turn steering help OFF (it is on by default).
  For anyone who hans ttried the demo it is definatly worth a looksee.
  For anyone who has tried it.. has anyone beet 19.20 on the test track? (top
speed of 275). Of course I was using one fo the cars that ISN't supposed to be
included with the demo..

It can be twitchy at times I believe that Bethesda is still working on this
but I'm not sure! I Tested it using a prototype TM forcefeedback wheel at
Bethesda's HQ and it was twitchy then and they said they where working on
it! So I believe they may have that fixed by release. And your right this
sim has allot of potential

You have to adjust the steering ratio and percentage.  Play with
it, and you'll find it alot easier to control.

I had the same problem  just couldn't get it calibrated right and then i
noticed down the bottom of the calibration screen, the "Press R to reset
values"  I pressed R and then calibrated with no problem  and it works
great.
