I'm looking for a regular driving simulator--Not a racing one--but one where
you have to obey traffic laws, and the objective is to get from point "A" to
point "B" in one piece.

I have to teach my nephew how to drive, and I'm having nightmares of
watching my new car getting wrecked in the process.

I've looked at some driving training sites on the Internet, but I was
wondering if there was a software package out there at a relatively decent
cost (<$40) that my nephew could use to get some "experience" before I let
him in front of the wheel of my new car.

He's OK at Test Drive 5 but somehow I feel a little nervous about a game
where its objective is to get from point "A" to point "B" while going 120+
MPH--not to mention that the car keeps on ticking without a scratch on it
eventhough it's been in 5 wrecks in the process of getting from the
beginning of the course to the end.

Any ideas!

Thanks in advance!

Peter

The Sierra software is Drivers Education 1999, they just recently released
this one.  It has the regulations for all fifty states.

Try looking at http://www.racesimcentral.net/ , I believe they have something like
this called 'Driver's Education', or something to that effect.

Carmageddon 2 sounds just about right! He-he...

Then your nephew can start to work as a New York cab driver.

I think its called GPL. The drivers are exactly like down here in perth
Western Australia. Drive like they are in a ***y grand prix.
