GPL w TNT fails to run

Hello,

I was running GPL with my TNT card very happily (except
for mirrorsevery=8 but don't get me started on that) until
I re-installed win95 and all drivers.  Now when I try to run
gpl in opengl mode I get "This program has performed an
illegal operation and will be shut down" and under details,
"GPL caused an invalid page fault in module GLU32.dll" etc.

I looked at dejanews and somebody else had this problem
but no solution was posted.  I have tried Diamonds' drivers
and Riva's drivers (I believe both worked before.)  I have
re-installed DX6.  I re-installed GPL.  Still, no luck!

Other opengl apps work fine.

Anyone figure this out?

    Did you try the .48 reference drivers from NVidia?

Check your Windows "display properties", this happens to me if I try to
start GPL from a 16 bit colour depth desktop...
