I finally won my first GPL race against the AI.  Though it was a
F3 race at Hickory (pretty easy to keep up with the confused AI)
it still feels good to have kept the nose pointing forward long
enough to be the first to see the chequered flag.

Just for interest, I set my fastest lap on my last lap when I
was taking things very easy as I knew I had a two second lead.
That says something about being quick in GPL i think.

That is always the case for myself as well. I think our fastest laps always
"feel" slow because they are so smooth. There is none of the slipping and
sliding around that seems fast but in reality is just scrubbing off speed.
