Has anyone in the UK tried World Online's freedom
24
service yet.

I'm especially interested in what it's like for
online racing
with GPL & N3.

any opinions on this and any other similar
services
would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,
I have been with WorldOnline from the start (formerly Screaming.net \
Localtel). It certainly is great to be able to logon at any time of the day
and not be concerned about the phone bill. I only recently started online
racing (and only with GPL) and have so far had no problems with it at all.
In fact since taking the plunge I haven't run the sim offline once.... I
have only had a very few disconnections and very rarely encounter any
warping problems.

However, this doesn't neccesarily mean that you will find the same because
I have had great service ever since I first joined Screaming.net when it
first started last year despite hearing of some people who were having some
pretty bad problems at the time.

Let me know if you want any more advice.

Cheers

Peter Hooper
