GP3 - 3 axis possible with Thrustmaster Nascar/Formula Pro

Yes it is possible!

This wheel worked as a Thrustmaster Nascar Pro with separate pedals for
GP2 - not so with GP3.

But it can be made to work

Pedals switch set to separate.

Controller ID 1 - Thrustmaster Nascar Pro with COMBINED pedals
Controller ID 2 - 2 axis 2 button joystick

GP3

Steering - joystick A horizontal
Accelerate - joystick A vertical
Brake - joystick B horizontal
Gear up - joystick B button 1 = right button on wheel
Gear down - joystick B button 2 = left button on wheel
Control driven calibration

Test it - full throttle in first , brakes on - rear wheels spinning, fronts
locked

Now to find out if it is useful :-)

Cheers

Tried with TM super sport wheel but didn't work. Is there a specific switch on
your nascar pro wheel to separate the pedals? I don't have (it can be done only
with the software profiler).

Tony Rickard a crit :

Yes there is a switch

Somehow you have to get your system to see your one controller (in my case
with an X,Y & Z axis) to become 2 joysticks with an X & Y axis. In my case
the Z axis is mapped to the 2nd joystick X axis.

I also have a Thrustmaster Nascar Super Sport wheel & pedals, and I can't
figure this out either. Any additional details as to how do this would sure
be appreciated....

GP3 - 3 axis possible with Thrustmaster Nascar/Formula Pro

Works perfectly with an ECCI Monza F1 w/ clutch, as follows:

1)  Create 2 joysticks in windows controllers, both 2 axis 2 button
controllers.
2)  Assign controller ID 1 to the first joystick, controller ID 2 to the
second.
3)  Using windows joystick config, confirm that the first joystick acts as
x-axis steering, y-axis brake (brake pedal), and that second joystick acts
as x-axis (gas pedal) and
y-axis (clutch pedal) for clutch.
4)  Configure GP3 as Joystick 1 A-axis horizontal steering, Joystick 1
A-axis steering for brake, Joystick 2 B-axis horizontal for gas and Joystick
2 B-axis vertical for clutch (choose joystick buttons for shifting, as
desired).
5)  Calibrate with "control driven calibration" in GP3.
6)  Enjoy split axis.

Congrats to Tony Ricard for figuring this out, you win the "Einstein" award.
