The beatiful track at Mosport Park has now been completed for CPR.
It's one of the best tracks for CPR, and should be excelent if you just
want to get some practicelaps for GPL as well :-)

the track can be downloaded by going to
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
and then go to the new tracks section

Amazing, but even though I haven't played CPR in ages because of the
physics problems, I'm tempted to re-install it just  to check out all
these tracks...no doubt about it -- a track editor in the right hands
is a powerul ally to a sim...

...and had CPR been the ICR2-swatter some had hoped for, we would
be as happy as pigs-in-mud about now...I'm going to have to have
a look at these lil' gems and dream of things to come.  =)

Good work, Arne...I'm downloading it now, and will reinstall CPR just
so I can check out my "Home" track...it's just 30 minutes from here.
The screenshots look excellent.

Yes, I agree it's a great track (C:PR)...  and the only reason I reinstalled
C:PR ;-)

It's somehow "bizarre" to race it on a CART racecar, I feel everything is in
turbo compared to all the in-car or real life races I saw at Mosport ;-)  .

Heck.. you must be in heavens... C:PR Mosport  _AND_ a 100% 1967 realistic
track in GPL.

What lap times are you pulling with the CPR Mosport track?? Just wondering
what kind of times you can pull!
Here's some Mosport records:

In 1967, Jim Clark qualified on pole position with a time of 1'22.4 seconds
(107.43 mph);

- The outright track record is 1'09.775(126.87 mph) by Hans Stuck in a
Porsche 962C, August 1985 (WEC?);
- The fastest race lap is by Al Unser Jr. in a Can-Am in June 1982 with a
time of 1'11.873 (123.167 mph);

- World SportsCar (now Pro. S.C): (qual):1'11.533 (123.752 mph) by Ron
Fellows (Ferrari 333SP)
- Trans-Am: (qual): 1'18.212 (113.184mph) by Ron Fellows (Chevy Camaro)
- Pro Superbikes: 1'29.05 (98.91 mph) by Michael Taylor on a Kawasaki -
July, 1995
- Regional Touring Cars: 1'35.xx - 1'45.xx (Eagle Talons, Nissans, Hondas,
Acuras, Mustangs, etc.)
- Me(!!!): 2'06.xx (70.257 mph) by "doktorB" ('89 Ford Probe LX) - July,
1996

As you can tell, I have some catching up to do!! (But then again, we're
comparing apples to oranges... just wait 'till I get my hand on GPL!!)

Was at Mosport on Canada Day (July 1st) this year for the annual Lotus day
("fun" event).. disappointing Lotus turnout, but got a few laps around at
lunch time sitting in a Porsche 911 (1'45-1'55??), then drove my own car -
WOW.. what fun! Not as fast as the Porsche, but still a blast. I swear to
god, every corner is a dream! Mosport is simply one fantastic track!!

Pau is one of the most fun tracks I've ever driven. The trackcraft of Arne Martin is stunning. I'm downloading Mosport now. I don't even need to try it to tell you to unpack CPR, it'll be worth it.
