Even if the product is out of production since several years (the last place
where people saw the Indianapolis Expansion pack or even the Indianapolis
500:The Simulator was at the Indianapolis raceway shot), it doesn't mean
that it's not illegal. Even if you can consider it as "abandonware", it's
still regulated by the copyright laws. I know this :)
Note that your not talking about the good software here. There is
"Indy500:The Simulator", who was the first title that Papyrus produced, and
there is the other Indianapolis track that everybody uses for the current
game engine. It was made as a add-on pack with a paintkit for IndyCar
Racing 1, back in 1993(2?). But still, make an easy websearch, you will
find it very easily over the WWWeb. Papyrus, Sierra, or the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway doesn't regulate at all the sharing of the track for Icr2,
N1, N2, NR99, etc... (and soon to be GPL ). Well they will do for some
cases (the early GPL glen track for NR99). But the Indy track is very easy
to find.
