How to repair/fix broken Gas pedal on T2?

I think I just broke the spring playing N2, just stepping on the pedal,
I heard a big crack.  Now the gas pedal hangs limp...so I emailed
Thrustmaster support.  Do they send free replacements and instructions
on how to fix this?

Yes they do!  Thrustmaster tech support is among the best.  You can call
them direct and get the repair parts for free.  Check your Nascar 2
Readme file for their number.  In the future, you can prevent spring
damage by limiting the amount of travel the pedals undergo.  Use a two
by four or something to reduce the amount of movement in the pedal's
ranges, since they don't need the entire amount they've got.

Yes Ray, Thrustmaster is very good about sending replacement parts.  I
ordered new springs before mine broke just so that I won't be off the track
for very long!  BTW, mine came in about 4-5 days.
