Those pictures still show that some textures will be kept non-aliased (trees
are a good example, as with some advertising). Could this be helpful for 3d
cars in terms of rendering speed and framerate?

I'm affraid you will need a P-VIII 3000mhz too... remember the SVGA
screenshots of GP2, and how it actually run on your pc?
It looks fantastic indeed, I'm just being very cautius here... never
trust screenshots!
