NR1999 Sound Balance

Could someone PLEASE tell me (and the many others who can't get it) how to
balance the sound sliders in Nascar Racing 1999 Edition so that you can hear
the spotter AND have "normal" sound levels for everything else in the game
WITHOUT adjusting your Windows master volume level (since you don't have to
adjust it for any other game).

It's been asked many times before, but I am just getting really sick and
tired of not being able to hear the spotter properly.

And, yes, I have tried balancing the sounds with the Spotter set to 50% as
it suggests in the manual.  Regardless of where I place the NR1999 master
volume slider and/or the Spotter volume slider, there is no way to get
normally/properly balanced sounds--it's that simple.  So assuming I and many
others are morons, please tell me where you place your sliders and what the
result is.

Thanks,

Marc.

I keep spotter set to 90
Master & Sound fx at  100
Skid at about 50
my engine 75
other engines 73
Once you go above about 90 on the spotter all other sound fx get much
lower. compensate by turning your volume up.
I have a old SB16 and generic speakers.I paid 20 bucks at a computer
show  but they sound great. Having a bass speaker made a big diffrence.
Hope this helps a little.   Doug D
