T2 Excellent Service Support

If you are thinking of buying a new wheel, let me say that thrustmaster
offers great support for their products AFTER you have purchased the item.
I have a T2 wheel and the wheel bungee cord became frayed and would not
offer the crisp return to center that I like. I e-mailed Thrustmaster
asking for info on where to purchase replacement parts, and within two days
they e-mailed a reply stating that the part would be sent free! I just
wanted to share this story, as usually customer support stories are
nightmarish tales of hours of muzak while on hold with some voice mail
system, shuffling between departments that don't handle your particular
problem.

My wheel pot went after a year.  I took the assembly to TM (it's only a
half hour away) expecting a repair and to pick it up a few days later,
but the guy there just gave me a new wheel.

I'm happy.

I agree. I have excellent customer service from TM. I told them right up
front that my T1 was 4-5 years old and they have sent me replacement
parts on three different occasions... brake springs, then steering pots
and most recently the adaptor for win 95. How many companies still
provide this kind of service after 4-5 years? I can't say enough good
things about Thrustmaster.IMHO

See ya in the winners circle!

Edward,

I can second your comments about Thrustmaster. I have emailed them
on several occasions about broken springs and failed a pot on my T2. I
have always recieved replacement parts at no charge within 10 days.

Once I needed a replacement spring for an upcoming league race, they
shipped the spring 2nd day ups at no charge.

Thrustmaster service is certainly the standard that others should
follow. I'm a loyal customer for life.

Regards,
