I get a lot of feedback with my MSFF wheel, make sure it's set up in your
core.ini file
Make sure this is in your core.ini
[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1 ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping = 20.000000 ; force feedback damping
coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.010000 ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 320.000000 ; steering torque in N*in giving
max device force
The values are altered slightly from whats in the sample core.ini, you may
need to alter them slightly to suit you. Also make sure your core.ini isn't
called core.ini.sample which is how it comes from the patch.
Some soundcards don't turn off the return to centre spring so you may have
to do that before starting GPL from the sidewinder software. If the wheel
centres when the car is stationery then it hasn't been turned off.
