fast food racing league, season 4 (N2003 league)

After months of feverish negotiations, head-scratching, and late night
coffees, we're pleased to announce that the Fast Food Racing League and Hog
are merging - kinda! Here's the deal - FFRL is adding a second division, and
changing the names of their divisions. The "Full Fat" division will run on
Monday nights, with 50% race distance (and one 100% race), all the normal
FFRL rules (there'll be a web page up soon with details of all the rules).
The Hog Friday League becomes The "Lites" division will run on Friday
nights, with 40% distance (and one 80% race), and will also adapt to FFRL
rules (we're making a big deal
about the rules, but in truth there aren't many, and they're mostly all
common-sense, with a few twists!). The Full Fat division will be
administered by Colin and Mark, the Lite division will be administered by
Peter.
FFRL Full Fat members may enter Lites division races, but only if
there's an available space - Lites members get first choice on running in
Lites races. (Provs MUST be declared before Wednesday night for them to
count, otherwise no points will be given for the prov) Drivers will be
notified by Sunday afternoon if they've been selected to drive in the Monday
race. Lites division members may put their name on a list to be guest
drivers in the Full Fat division. Again, FF guys get first priority, and
their prov MUST be in by Saturday night, or the same rule will apply. Once
more, there must be an available space in the FF race for this to apply.
We'll try our best to rotate drivers from Lites into FF, to give them a
taste of the 'big time', and also our terrible jokes.
Full Fat drivers will use the number scheme of 0-50, based on the
previous season's standings, and should use the same car if they race in
Lites. Lites drivers will use the number scheme 00-050, also based on last
season's, and should they race in FF, they again should use the same car.

We're sure we've probably forgotten some things, so please feel free to ask!

As you can see, our intention is to unite the two best UK-based leagues (in
our opinion!), to promote and further make us a well-respected league, and
to add further camaraderie into our wonderful sport. Thanks to you all for
racing with us, now head on over to the sign-up page and register!

Here's an addition Col has made to his original announcement:

To avoid confusion, this is a European-based league, so race start times are
at 2030CET, which is 1430ET if you're in the US. However, our server is
huge, (P3 450 x2 512 mb Ram, 60 Gb SCSI disks, 2 mb pipe) so anyone joining
from N. America will have no problems connecting, only with the
mid-afternoon race time)

Just thought I'd add it here for him.
