Sim Racing League Opens Registration for 2004 Season

by Alan Hoo » Thu, 11 Dec 2003 22:00:28

The Northwest Simulation Tour (NWST, www.nwstsimracing.net), a sim
racing league for NASCAR Racing 3 (N3) and NASCAR Racing 2003 Season
(N2K3) sim drivers, is accepting registrations for the 2004 season. The
NWST is introducing a new racing format designed to place offline sim
N2K3 drivers in a division that best fits their skill level. The 2004
season begins with an offline Winter Qualifying Series that consists of
four races. Driver performance in the Winter Series races will place
N2K3 drivers in either the offline ARCA (novice skill level), BGN
(moderate skill level) or CUP (high skill level) divisions.  For N3
drivers, an offline hard charger (HCGR) and BGN divisons are offered. In
addition to stockcar racing, N2K3 sim drivers can participate in an open
offline truck division (CTS) at tracks not normally competed in the
stockcar divisions. In addition to offline racing, the NWST will also be
running an online N2K3 division. The NWST has a lot to offer sim drivers
that includes high level of competition with other highly skilled and
dedicated sim drivers, career statistics and end-of-season championship
trophy. More information about sim racing with the NWST can be found at
www.nwstsimracing.net .

The NWST is also seeking enthusiastic sim drivers wanting to be involved
in an active community devoted to league sim racing. The newest addition
to the NWST is NWST News (www.nwstnews.net), a new site dedicated to
reporting all the league sim racing action. Members of NWST News can
submit articles, driver press releases, team press releases, car
paintschemes, reviews, links and much, much more.
