Did you see that, for once it was fun, reminded me of Arnoux and Villeneuve
in Dijon....

Indeed I did, hopefully we will see more of that in the future. They have
got to be the next two big champions.

that was some awesome driving by JPM for sure, what a great battle.
He sure rattled kimi's cage.

The trouble with that pass is/was......
JPM pulled away so very quickly after passing that it was clear his car was
vastly superior.  With the new track config, passing was limited, as shown
by how much trouble JPM had with a much quicker car getting by Kimi.

What did he say? Kimi's got to be the next big champion? That sounds right
to me. :-)

I didn't see the race - are you sure it wasn't just Kimi blowing the
exit under pressure?  I was under the impression that McLaren had caught
up to Williams this year in terms of speed.

They (McLaren) were slower, but not by as much as it appeared from that
pass, IMO. The way I saw it, JPM got Raikonen on the back foot and kept him
there until he ran out of road to hold the Columbian off on.

Tasty bit of action nonetheless, this sort of thing should happen at least
once in every race.

Kimi deserves a lot of credit. The McLaren was a lot slower. JPM pulled away
after the pass. Kimi passed him on the outside at the start of the race and
then held him off for 12 laps. Williams had to up the revs on JPM's car in
order for JPM to finally get past.

No it was more than just a lost corner.  JPM put something like 12
seconds on the Mac in the space of only a few laps after passing him..  Once
he was by he was bye bye.....
The McLarens have improved and at technical courses like Monaco they do
seem equal or even slightly superior.  But over all they still seem to be
quite well off the pace set by the Williams cars.

I was most impressed by the fact that they didn't take each other out! Close,
wheel-to-wheel racing through a twisty bit of track, not just one corner. Great
fun to watch. Probably even more fun for JPM and Raikkonen! JPM was obviously
being held up, but Kimi gave him a great battle for as long as he could.

Anyone know of the footage being available on the web anywhere? The
Aust. footage only showed the last corner with the commentators
telling us what a wonderful battle it had been when they came back
from the ad break. Damn that sux.

So if anyone has seen it on the web (or is willing to dub it from a
video???) ....Please!!!
