IndyCar 1 + Win95 = don't work

blank screen and back to dos prompt.

MArtin

I have successfully ran indycar and nascar going through Win95
it has to do with the advanced settings under shortcut properties

i had to set up a different shortcut for the paintkit
it seems Win95 does not use an autoexec.bat or config.sys
nascar and indycar need these files to tell them where the sound
car and joystick drivers are located and to define the sond card
variables.

One thing that i have had to do also is configure the sound car
using the setup command through Win95 also.

It is a shame that we all have to go through this ***just to play a game
Mr. Gates has forced us as well as Papyrus and other *** companies
to create new version of there software to accomadate WIn95

But if you cant run it in dos mode with a boot disk sounds like you
have more problems than just Win95

No-one is "forcing" you to use Win95......I've none of these problems,
and don't have to mess about with boot disks, etc. And I've been using a
32-bit operating system for a few years, not months. OS/2!

B-)

Cheers!
