Sorry, I tend to ignore the specifics of the latest Windows exploits.
I use a NAT router, a firewall and don't use MS mail/news clients so
life is a bit less exciting for me :-)
Andrew.
One word - router.

(The most unhackable and virus-resistant Mac ever was the old Mac
Classic, though. Not only do nearly all hackers & virus writers not know
how to 'attack' Macs, this model also had it's entire OS in ROM, had no
command line, could start without any disk and only spoke Appletalk thru
the network. Now that's a challenge ;)

($ 10 for such an oldie - like the IICI - and $ 3 for an old Ethernet
card will buy you an almost unhackable and virus-resistant little
server/router/firewall. Very cheap and VERY safe, relatively speaking.
The US Army used something like this for www.army.mil a while ago and
afaik it's still on the air ;)

Download: FixBlast - W32.Blaster.Worm Removal Tool

But apparently it only affects NT based M$ systems. I.e. NT, 2000 and
XP. Anyone using win98 or ME is safe.
