I have noticed that when I get the pole at
Martinsville, all of the cars line up on the far outside groove
and simply "ride" around the track at reduced speeds. Anyone
else have this problem at this or any of the other tracks?
It is very annoying.......

I got the pole at Loudon yesterday, and the same thing happened. It
resolves itself only when I spin someone and a caution comes out. Then
we go back racing and the drivers race.

I believe I read here earlier that this is a known bug and papyrus is
soon to release a patch.

I have noticed that when I get the pole at

i think ncr11.zip which brings NASCAR up to Ver 1.1 will take
care of this problem. you can find it at ftp.webcom.com.

Occured with me at Atlanta yesterday.

Had lapped the field withing 10 laps at 100%.

Wondered what the hell was going on. good to hear there will a patch coming
out.

Yes, it is a known bug. Someone had a note from Papyrus that they posted here
about a week ago that mentioned they were going to deliver a fix for it
on their BBS/FTP site. Any news??(Also are they fixing the yellow flag
problems??)

The "pole position" patch is out at the Papyrus BBS. I just got it the
other day.

Fix is also at ftp.std.com The file is ncr11.zip (I think) it is under
/pub/vendors/papyrus
