GPL-Could this be done?

Could the existing 11 tracks in GPL be joined together
to create a lap (including tunnel connectors) of about 50
miles? Also, could the direction of travel be reversed?
If so, we would then have, in essence, a brand new track
created to GPL's standards that would be slightly longer
than the small Targa Florio's approx. 45 miles.
One of the tracks would serve as the start and finish.
Its s/f would be past the pits - so no un-timed laps.
Tunnels like Monaco's would appear to pass thru hills
and in this way it would hide from view the present end
of the track you were on and you would emerge from the
tunnel onto the next circuit. The tunnels could have names
of present tracks in GPL with a Sicilian twist, this would
help one learn the course - CastelSPAvetrano, ColleRINGa!
Could most of the present GPL scenery be replaced with the
more simple vegetation that is seen in pictures of the Targa?
For example the Ring would lose it's pine trees and be replaced
by olive trees and grape arbors! Monaco fits in but how about
changing the Hotel de Paris to a 500 year old church? An example
of how much new scenery could impact this road course just imagine
one of those 1000 year old Sicilian villages placed down in those
twisty parts of the Mexico City track - between the big 180 and the
second to last turn and do the same all around this new 50 mile track
in about the same ratio as on the Piccolo circuito delle Madonie!

says...

It would probably be easier to just go to Sicily, measure up the Targa
Florio course, and then type it in by hand.

On second thoughts, while you're there, drive a few laps.

You'd have to work on a good setup for that track. You could start with
your Nrurgring setup as a baseline, I think. Because that track is going
to weed out the whimps...

And how about placing Nrburgring as the last track in the series, that
last straight would make a marvellous finish...

Your right about the setups Asgeir, I think, and remember also
I want it to be run in the opposite direction. Also,
please note everyone I can't do this kind of programming.
Wizards Needed!
It's funny about the finish, to have a long run to the finish
will be hindered by the necessity of having a tunnel just
before the finish line. Actually Rouen backwards would have quite
a run from the cobblestone hairpin uphill thru those big sweepers
before the tunnel exit onto the very end of the first track.
That tunnel incidentally, has the possibility
to add what in my ignorance I believe could appear to have quantum
aspects! This last tunnel is *physically* located at the end of the
first track run (backwards) and starts before the car crosses the line.
It is also the tunnel that cars come out of to cross the s/f line to
end the race or start another lap, but I think and here it gets weird -
I think it is 2 tunnels - one you enter from track 1 and come out on
track nbr. 2
and one you enter after you have run track nbr. 11 and exit back where
you started! Something like the TWILIGHT ZONE of GPL.

When I was driving the GPL demo I didn't really think much of this idea of
joining all the tracks...just some waste of time....
but since I bought GPL and had the opportunity to try longer tracks
such as  Spa and Nurbergring,I think it would absolutely great
to have something like that !! :-)
