Yeah, it would be cool. Viper Racing, for example, would be much better
(With the Microsoft Force Feedback PRO I use Rz axis for clutch, I can shift
better than CPU).
However not many games support clutch control, and a solid H shifter (a
lever activating a microswitch switch for every gear) would be expensive.

That would be an awesome idea. But it would actually have to be a decent
pedal. I tried the pedals on the microsft system and i hate them. i use a
joystick cause I am used to real pedals of cars and unless I spend a fortune
on a good set of pedals I have to settle for some with no feel. The clutch
feature of Viper racing is one I like so much and that all games should
have. But most racing cars have sequential which is awesome. So the need for
a clutch is not needed cause in most cases wouldn't be very realistic, but
it would be cool, cause I love manual cars and i will refuse to ever drive
anything else then a manual unless it's sequential.

Well, I use GPL mostly, so a clutch is useful.... esp for a quick get-a-way at
the start.
I built my own wheel/pedals (all metal), I have shift paddles (+ g/stick), a
hand operated clutch lever on the wheel (really cool) + the usual foot pedals...
also have 3rd/4th buttons on the wheel for 'look left/right'  + a switch to
gang/ungang the brake/throttle pedals.
Unless you pay mega bucks for an all metal american wheel, you will end up with
'plastic crap'  Make your own!  Check this site out for full info on how to
build your own, it worked for me!
