Disagree. MS's initiatives will mean it'll be easier to develop sims
simultaneously for the Xbox and PCs, so Sony will have to follow suit. The
demographics of consoles are trending upward into PC territory. Console and
PC "entertainment" s/w sales are abt. equal (50 mil/yr.), but developers
spend roughly 10 as much on consoles. PCs will become a niche market,
consoles will co-opt PC games, and brainless console games (e.g., side
scrollers) will migrate to cell phones. In fact, it's already happening.
