The userid is your login username for a novell server, which you have to have
to play a network game. And guess how many people have one of those at home!

But, if NASCAR is like DOOM all you need is the ipx client drivers from
Novell(they should be on their home page), network cards, and cabling.
You don't have to have a server. Put whatever you want for userid as
long as they are not the same.
Like I said above, I have not tried this with NASCAR, so I don't know if
it will work with NASCAR. It does work with DOOM.

NASCAR is not like DOOM; you need a Novell server to use the undocumented,
unsupported network option.
